I paid £45 for mine but this one is almost 15" from tip to tip. He has 10 Schillarianas left but wanst to make sure that the person buying it will look after it well. Here is his email and you can contact him. The plants he has are smaller than mine and he can probably come down in a price a little because of that. He reckons £30 for a plant of the smaller size. He lives in Edinburgh.

Thanks! Funny, I know that grower through his Ebay shop. Got some Phal equestris from them once.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm torn about what to do. I'm permanently moving to the Netherlands in August and will have a ton of stuff to bring with me (in the train) including my entire 40+ collection.... One more large orchid is going to be a bit problematic. Maybe I'll have to pass it up this time!

Congratulations to all of you who got a plant. They are beautiful in and out of bloom, and at any size. Camille, I think you made the right decision, this plant species can get quite stressed when conditions change too often. I'm sure you'll find one soon.

Camille why not see if they will hold one for you and ship to the Netherlands in August? I'm sure if you explain your situation they might be willing. Or you could pay for it and ask for delayed shipping.

You can thank me later for being such a great enabler.

I didn't think about that!! i don't know how willing growers are to hang on to a purchased plant for almost 2 months, when they could fill that space with another orchid.

Never hurts to ask! The worst case scenario is they will say no.
