By the way, If this can be of help, I noticed you have other mounted phals. In my conditions this one does not grow roots into the spagh but sticks to the wood.

I'm hoping for the roots on wood situation; I'm hoping for that on all of my mounted plants. I think it looks much more dramatic than moss.

Hi,

I've got schilleriana in march, its half way between mounted and potted, in a basket (thats the theory, we'll see if it really works), from than to now there is a fully grown leaf and three strong roots.



I hope there will be a new leaf this summer and a spike in winter. I water daily, temps between 26ēC and 23ēC (nights indoors), gets a little bit sun early in the morming if there is an. Seems to like it, but it is only three month with me.
It is the variety 'purpurea', don't know if they all are 4N, got it from elsner orchideen in germany, not expensive at all.
