I'd like to know what the conditions are like on that "opposite side" of the greenhouse.

warmer wetter with less air movement. Al pointed out the fact that the leafless ones were right in front of a giant fan. He felt that the increased air movement had something to do with leaf fall. Of course less air also means less moisture loss. Perhaps leaf fall has more to do with drying. I have leaf growth but mine dries even though it gets mist three times a day.

I have 3 of them now, all 3 different. The 1st one lost all its leaves within a month, I thought it had died, so tossed it out, got another one a year ago, and that one too lost its leaves. It is now in a terrarium, because the roots seem very much alive. I have a 2nd one in a different terrarium, it never lost its leaves and seems to grow like a weed. The 3rd one I bought in bud, it is in full bloom now and has not (yet) lost its leaves. Fortunately there is no bacon smell (I hate bacon!). They are very interesting to grow, as is phal. taenials. They sure try your patience.

Wooooow! How nice delicate brown colour it has!!! I saw it reather pinky everywhere. Grats! Do you have to keep it cooler in the wintertime or is it about just not watering? I'd really like to have one too but i have a florarium with a constant 20°C which i guess would be too much for this baby

like I said, I really don't know what makes it flower. It probably gets more water in the winter than it does in summer.
In winter, it only gets watered on warm days because those are the only days it dries out.
