To tell the difference between Phal Lovely Kid and Phal parishii is easy.

To tell the difference between Phal Lovely Kid and Phal lobbii is a little tricky. You'd have to almost have an intimate knowledge of Phal lobbii to do so.

Now if the primary hybrid had been Phal parishii x Phal gibbosa, it'd probably be a lot easier to spot as a hybrid.

And yeah, someone should tell the seller.

Anyways...just makin' fun talk.

So very true, Rob. We are very fortunate with the knowledgeable community here. Another indispensible resource for photos of Phal species and primaries that I'm sure most of you know is Phalaenopsis Orchids : species and primary hybrids. That is the English version, it's also in French at Les Orchides Phalaenopsis botaniques et hybrides primaires.

By "No hold" you mean you haven't gotten into contact with her? I am having so many issues with her right now, and I just want to know who all has had some bad experience with her.

Yeah, she usually replies to me ASAP, but not yet. This is my only real issue I've ever had with her. I bought maybe 20ish orchids from her and only had this one bloom so far. A few times I spotted mealys, but that's about it.

Luck you! I am having so many problems with her calling me a liar and she sent me wrong plants, as replacements for plants that showed up in horrible condition, and she didn't even e mail me about those plants and now she thinks it's ok because she replaced it with this one plant. Haha Sorry for venting there!
