thats very generous! but its way to cold here to ship. especially if its a small delicate keiki. but once it warms up, maybe the keiki will have matured by then. and we could work something out. id pay shipping in a heart beat..... ill pm you when winter is OVER

that photo is just awesome! i love the pics someone from asia posted from their market. HUGE clumps of plant

Yours is well on the way to looking like that! I think I've seen tht pic before, possibly in the Moth orchids book by Steven Frowine.

I absolutely agree, it would be ill-advised to ship a delicate plant now. So I'll hold it for you and try to get it growing strong for the Spring sometime.

It's gorgeous, Ryan. Can't wait to see it with more blooms.

What a happy plant!
I notice that your plant has a slight tilt in the way the leaves are growing. I think this is much better for phals than being "straight" up as water will be less likely to sit in the crown.
I actually "reoriented" several of my phals and am having better success in NOT loosing them to crown rot

Several more have opened up but I won't take a photo until a majority have. Haven't smelled them yet either but hope they'll be smelling like roses soon!

Yes I try to grow all of my phals this way. When I plant them and repot in s/h, I simply let them lay down instead of being upright. I feel it gives a better visual effect, too. No crown rot for me, either!

Here's a link to the thread that had the awesome photo of all the root Keikis. The picture is from Big Leaf. Pretty cool!
