Phal. mannii
Here's my Phal. mannii blooming this year with 5 spikes in various stages of development. This is one of my favorite plants. It never fails to impress me. I appologize for the poor quality pictures. I didn't have the time to set it up properly.

Looks great Terri. Mine is going crazy this year too. Only one spike, it's still pretty young, but five blooms out at once. Can't wait till it grows up!

5 spikes? Wow! It's beautiful. Is this usual for it, or is it just a very happy plant this year? I just got a mannii 'dark' last week, hopefully it will look as nice as yours one day. How are you growing it?

Camille, this plant has about 4 basal keikis. I think it must have had a rough start. It didn't look too hot when I first bought it. A good repot and some TLC and it bounced right back. Anyway 3 of the 4 growths are spiking, two of which are double spiking. I'm growing it in intermediate/warm temps, and pretty bright light. It's right under a T5, and just behind a row of Catts next to the window. It gets fertilized weekly with 125ppm MSU. Last year it only put up 2 spikes. So I guess this is unusual.
I really like the dark clone too, and have been looking for it online. No luck so far.

Thanks! I guess mine will do just fine under the lights.
Funny you can't find the dark version, that one's quite easy to find on this side of the pond.

Beautiful, Terri! Mine has 2 spikes just forming. It only had one last year, too. I really love this little guy!
