Hey I'd like to show you my newly blooming one. I hope I know it's name correctly this time It's from Italy, I bought it in March and it was flowering all over Spring. I was the most surprised when I saw it was going to bloom again and on two spikes I'm very happy, it's a lovely one. Enjoy

Mine has a leaf span of about 3 inches. Glad to know what I have to look forward to (in the distant future).

Very nice! This plant is one of my all time faves! Mine is kicking out 5 spikes and 2 of the 5 have buds that are about to pop open. It's such a rewarding plant!

Gorgeous!! I love the blooms of this phal. I used to have what's called the 'chocolate' version of it, which had dark brown and yellow markings. Was one of my favorite phals, I'm going to get another one soon!

Thx very much!
Daethen, good luck with yours, it's really worth waiting for it
Quiltergal, please show us when it's open, it must be gorgeous with 5 spikes!
Camille, yes I know I love that version too! I'm also planning on getting one with my next order.

It is great!

does it produce keikis?

I was looking at Oak Hill's catalog and I am tempted in geting either a P mannii or P bastianii.

I like them both but I have a hard time picking one of the 2. are the cultural requirements the same? any differences apart from the bloom shape?

thanks

stefpix, I faced that difficult decision recently and made the only logical choice: I got both. Well, actually I bought 2 bastianii and and one mannii.

Really, it was the only choice.
