I'm so bad..... I was not going to order anymore orchids online, for the winter due to the cold..... But after seeing this pic, I just ordered one from Sapphire. I opted to pay the $30 for overnight shipping, since I didn't want the baby to catch a cold.

Well, even with overnight shipping, it's worth it. Such a pretty equestris. But, yes, winter moratorium for me as well. So, of course, lots of lovelies have now appeared online!

Actually turns out I ordered their Phal. Equalacea grex Sapphire's Indigo Equalacea, which is Phal equestris 'Martel's Blue' x Phal Violacea 'Sapphire's Navy'. I couldn't afford any of the ones that were $100+ so I am sure it is going to be a lighter "blue" than the expensive ones. Although, for me, this will be the most I have spent on an orchid $50 AND I paid extra to have it over nighted.
