well I got it yesterday, its on a stick and its tiny
Its in spike, so the challenge is to get it to bloom.......and grow. I have it tucked in between my zygo's as cultural preferences are similar.......
actually phal toenail ( mentioned previously by Daethen, and I see quoted on other OBs ) may be a good description for the size of the flower as well as name. Its probably going to be 1/2 the size of my little toenail.
I also have a phal wilsonii on its way from a vendor in China. The comparison is going to be interesting.
Cool! I have a taenialis too. The first thing it did when I got it home, was to lose it's pathetically small and only leaf. I didn't worry though since it had two root tips growing very well, and since I thought it might be a deciduous Phal. It's now growing a new little leaf, so it seems to like my care somewhat at least.
