The BROS is a tiny but great club. I'm somewhat an honorary member. I went to several meetings when I lived there and first got into orchids, but then I had to move to NC. I did their web page initially and kept it up after I moved. Someone else now does the page, but they kept me on a kind of. I met some wonderful people there, but you are right, several have passed away. The web page has helped them bring in some new faces though, and I hope they are able to keep going.

The big house was sold and the Roanoke Garden Clubs (I think it was called) has a new building they built.

Thanks for the update, Ben! I'm glad to hear that BROS is still doing well. I think my Dad may start attending some meetings again now that he's retired, and I might come along when I'm in town. Let me know if you ever plan to come to an OS meeting in Asheville.
