Default My Phal Lueddemaniana...in spike?

bought this luedde 3 weeks ago. it's from the mindanao island and looks like from its natural habitat. has an existing flower spike but looks like a new spike is growing and I hope it's not a keiki as this will be my first lueddemaniana.

Wow! Great! I'm actually too excited and been watching that growth daily early in the morning and after office hours. How long in weeks would be the wait? For sure I'll post the pic of the first bloom. I hope its fragrant.

not bad i can wait patiently. will post pics of the progress. one of the leaves is yellowing which should be natural since it's damage from travel and shipment (mindanao to manila) and for the fact that it's from its natural habitat. the good thing is aside from the spike and root growth is that there's also new growth in the crown.

Keep it watered and fertilized good. Lueddes like more light than most Phals in my experience.

thanks so much for the advise. the osmunda fibers on top of the old roots and the spag on the sides should keep it moist. When I got it its just attached on the fern slab. I'll put it back to the location where the plant can have access to morning light.

Thanks Boyong.

I might be dropping by there tomorrow and see what new chids species they have. I'll heads up the owner that you'll be coming to get some luedde.
