There are other sellers of native orchids as well one has a farm in tagaytay which is much closer to me. They have a seedling of variegated amabilis and the leaves really look great but the price is a whooping 1000 pesos for a very small seedling that might die in my care. Anyway, they told me they have heiroglyphica in their farm and other species in which I made appointment to come tomorrow to get some. Another vendor have boxes of schilleriana mother plants and an amabilis I think. They had a lone lueddemaniana mounted with several keiki's and told me that it is from quezon province and the color is yellow. It must have been a pallens. The old flower spikes are long and round unlike the lueddes I got from msbf coming from mindanao with short thick spikes and somehow kinda flatter. Price started at 300 but I got it at 150.
that's quite a lot of loot you have yesterday
good luck to those new phals

Looking good. I must admit I thought it looked somewhat dehydrated originally but it seems to like your care as it looks much better in this latest pic.

The spike may be growing slowly, but it's growing... it'll get there

looks like i have not updated this thread....but sadly my luedde spike aborted. a new spike actually emerged but then again it did nothing until the now two spikes turned black and eventually looks to be drying out. it must have gotten a disease so I cut the 2 spikes. I'll post a pic soon of the plant and I hope I would get to bloom this soon.
