Could it be a Violecia cross?

I just purchased this lovely little one, and noticed a very strong, delicious scent. The leaves on it look like my Bellina orchid,lighter green and very broad. I know its next to impossible to ID a noid, but wondered if anyone had any idea?

the shape looks like violacea, but lots of other species have that shape too. its very pretty! where idd you get it? i love a scented phal

Based on my very very limited bellina/violacea experience I would say no. There have been numerous scented phal hybrids hitting the market from what I have observed. I honestly cannot say what provides the fragrance, but I don't think its violacea since the flower stems are much mug longer and the leaves are more stiff. This is just my guess though.

I got her at HD, and they had loads of very well cared for phals [a good thing to see ]
I kind of thought it wasn't violaecia, but don't know of many other scented phals similar Thanks for the replys, I will just enjoy her

P. amboinensis is fragrant, with an almost similar flower shape.


But a noid is a noid is a noid. Lovely noid though!

Just a note- if the blossoms wern't veiny to begin with, check your watering. My phal's flowers did that when I began to be lax in my watering schedule and they dried a bit.

IF the colors are reasonably true on my laptop's display (bronzey colors), it might have some venosa in it.

Morning everyone

The colors are exactly correct. [I call her 'Sunset'] The fragrance seems to start in the morning, and quits at around 4 pm. Its kind of fruity/ Cinnamony and I just Love it.
Thanks for the head up with the names, [that it might be related to] I am going to google them just for fun.
