Phalaenopsis pulchra Keikei Ready?

Hello all how are you doing? I hope all is well! I just got my Phalaenopsis Pulchra and its awesome it has a new spike and its producing a bud! It also has two Keikei! The largest is the one the one I am posting about. I was wondering if it is READY? Here is a picture of it, it has its own spike and its actually getting longer. So what do you think I should do?

I've always heard that the roots should be 3-4 inches before removing the keiki...but...I also heard that it should be a total of 4 inches with all the roots. I've tried it both ways with no problems.

With yours, I'd probably leave it alone because of where the spike is located, it looks very fragile and even if you're being careful, it could break

Once it's done blooming, it can surely be removed and potted or mounted

ok thanks a ton! are there any trick to getting it to grow faster or just let it do its thing?

If it's putting out a spike like that, you're already doing something right
It must be in it's "happy place" too

Just let it be and enjoy...don't rush it

The babies from the pulchra break off fairly easy (imo) But I still would remove it yet, since the root growth will slow down or just stop altogether becos' of the spike forming, the energy will likely go towards the flowering.
Pulchra spikes can sit there for a loooong time

ok Cool so just relax and watch right? i can do that! it has one other long spike that has a very small keikei on it with just root stubs. not active. is that due to the larger keikei trying to bloom?
