lueddemaniana 'KF#8'
Great flower. Smells like butt.
Sorry the ugly pot was is in the way. I tried to cover it, but that pushed the flowers up where I couldn't get a pic.

Be glad. I must have gotten something on it. I don't think they normally smell so bad.

Wonderful looking flower. Great pic despite the pot.

Ben, It is a great looking flower. As for the scent, I really have not come across that one before.

Ben, beautiful flowers!!
Just out of curiosity, how are you growing these?
I have a 'DT' and 'Red Star' neither of which will bloom, and some lueddy crosses too.

Hey,
I never had luck with lueddes before. I have 2 seedlings from Joseph Wu that are about to die because they weren't getting what they need. They were kinda expensive, so its been a hard lesson. Everything changed for me when I started giving them more light. I have my lueddes now sitting almost directly under my MH lights. I would think the light would be too strong there, but they have gone crazy.
Hope that helps. I like this species. I'm glad I finally have something going with them.

Thanks Ben,
I currently have mine growing in a East Window and they get bright light all morning. Think I'll slowly switch their grow area to the family (orchid) room that has a large bank of South facing windows.
Good luck with your Wu lueddes, I only wish my orchid budget could afford the $$ !!
