My mother called me earlier. I think I'm starting to get her hooked on orchids!
She was mentioning how much she liked my Phal. Rong Guan Mary that is blooming in her kitchen window. Then she looked at my bastianii and was caught by the cool barring that you can see through the closed buds.
Muahahahaha! Just wait until they open! She won't be able to resist the call of the chids!
It almost makes up for having to leave it at home because eastern Washington is so much drier (and less orchid friendly) than western Washington...almost.
