Phal equestris 'dark'
I got this keiki from an OB friend in the fall, and one of the first things it did in my care was to put out a spike! And this is the result. The blooms are a bit darker in real than in the photo. I really love the way equestris spikes arch downwards as they elongate, they're very elegant looking that way. I love equestris, and am on a mission to collect them all! Can't wait for my new var coerulea to spike.

I love equestris as well. It's on my 'must buy in 2010' list (which is one step above my wish list).
This dark one is gorgeous!

It's beautiful, Camille. Are you growing it mounted or in a pot?

Very nice Camille! With the variety of equestris out there you may never have them all. Seems like new variations are popping up all the time.
Dana! You're back!! We missed you!!

Well done!
What a beautiful flower!
To collect this species all must be very hard, but I hope you can make it in the near future.
