Hi all, I just purchased a sweet little phal, P.amabilis x P equestris, alba. Is it still a species orchid?

Nope. Yours is a primary hybrid registered as Phal. Artemis.

That's a gogeous hybrid, I can really see the equestris in it.

Would you believe Walmart? It was tucked behind a whole bunch of huge purples and whites [mostly tagged] and I really had to work at getting it out but so worth it. I even think I detected a faint floral scent in the mornings

I would have bought it. I love primary hybrids - the charm of the species involved but with hybrid vigor and some variation. Fun, fun, fun.
