One of the most widely distributed Phalaenopsis, this one from West Java. A natural hybrid between this species and Phalaenopsis javanica in West Java can sometimes be found around this part of Java island.
I rescued this Phal from a streetside vendor where most of the orchids being sold look dehydrated due to long period of drought we had this year. I immediately replaced the media because they use seemingly unsterilized coconut husk. Some already turned black. Then I mount on a piece of treefern slab.
Looks like the phal appreciate my effort by presenting a pretty flower not long afterwards. Maybe different from common cornu-cervi you may find in your areas, but I am pleased with the form variation.
