Default Phal. heiroglyphica

This is the plant's seedling bloom. The flowers are a bit curved; I'd hoped they would be a bit flatter. But perhaps next year! At any rate, the markings are excellent.

The colors are superb! I've got one in spike, but it seems to be taking forever to bloom. Do you remember how long it took from spike to flower?

And I don't think the curves detract at all--great growing!!

Great markings! I love how the reddish-cinnamon color fades to a lavender-pinkish color near the center. Just makes it that much more vibrant and wonderful!

I don't remember how long but it was one of the slowest Phals I've ever bloomed. Worth the wait, though! Two spikes on a seedling bloom makes me happy.

The flowers are lovely and I'm sure they will get even better as the plant grows up .

Very nice one John! I think it will be even nice next year. Those really aren't bad flowers for a first bloom seedling!
