Default Phal. equestris

Hi everyone, this is it's very first bloom, with a few more on the way, and a second spike a couple weeks behind the first.
Leaf span is about 6". And it has a basal keiki jutting out the side.

Phal. equestris 'Fuga' type

A true beauty!

Phal equestris is my favorite Phal

Don't cut the spike after the blooms are gone. These chids are known to give keiki which will sprout up along the existing spike. Once the spike turns brown, you'll know it's dead and will not produce a keiki...then you can cut it down and wait for the next round of beauty
