Phal. parishii - crazy nutzo order

It started with ordering a Vanda coerulea. Then read some of the sticky thread about growing vandas in vases. Then I remembered a mounted Phal. parishii that I could not make happy but loved very much.
So I looked around for the species and couldn't find a supplier in the US.
Oh, but Ebay. Some obscure orchid guy with decent ratings had one. CITES certificate, international ordering two month wait, who knows what I'll get. I'm okay with the possibility of receiving an all-but-dead and shrivelled specimen. Or maybe even dead and shrivelled. About $120 all told. But it seems like a fun adventure! You pays your money, you takes your chances.
I can see growing it mounted, but in a large tubular vase (like vanda vase-growing). Or maybe I can un-mount it and put it in a pot.
No pressure, just going to take it step by step.
