Phalaenopsis modesta
First bloom of a plant from Big Leaf from last spring. It has taken well to mounting! 6 spikes, 4 with developing buds.

Yes! Not strong as of yet, but there is a faint fruity fragrance... the description of "grape" that is often mentioned seems to describe it.

I got one from Big Leaf and it bloomed the first year I had it (one spike and two flowers) and then next year it died. Have no idea what happened.
