That's still more activity than what mine is showing. It hasn't done anything since last summer, which makes me suspect that whoever said in another thread that it's probably an obligate hot grower, is probably correct.
I'll give it another 6mo, and if it still doesn't do anything I'm probably going to try to rehome it.

more evidence to support the theory is that we had separated the three into the 3 distinct climate zones in our flat, and this one that is growing is in full south/sun exposure in the south window and this location, due to the sun, gets the hottest of the 3 each day. the one that kicked it was in the cold room in a northern expoure, and the one still fading is in a shadier southern exposure which stays cooler than the main room.
well, i should edit to clarify that the one growing the new leaf isn't completely in full sun exposure, it is behind larger plants in dappled shade (tiny, so it fits), but less than a meter from full day sun exposed window

It's been a while, so I don't even remember what happened. Might have been a victim of the disease which forced me to trash 75% of the collection.

Also, does anyone in the USA know of a source for this species?

You may want to contact Peter Lin at Big Leaf Orchids. He was at our recent short course and specializes in phals. I didn't find this species listed on his website, but he may have info on where to find one.

I think I might have to reach out to him! I'll probably try Mike Mims too.
