Default Pleasant surprise on P. equestris this morning

Sunday is watering day, so everything gets looked over well. The last bloom dropped from my P. equestris a couple of weeks ago, and wasn't expecting to find anything.

But, there it was, right at the base. I thought maybe it was starting a new spike early, but no, it's a keiki!

I really enjoy this little orchid. The blooms lasted for over 8 months!
