Good beginner/inexpensive bs vandas?
Hey everyone!
Help me find what I am looking for!
I want a pink vanda - similar to the vanda pachara delight, but pink.
I would like to have one blooming size, and I would like it to be reasonably priced.
I would like a vanda that doesn't grow any taller than 3 feet or so, otherwise it would be much too large for my growing space.
I have a south facing window which I am now confident will provide my plant with enough sun and warmth, so I really would like to get a vanda.
Do you have any recommended kinds of vandas or vendors I should look for? Thanks so much!

Hahaha I know this day would come when you said you would never get a Vanda. There are pachara pink. Vandas will invariably get taller overtime but it takes a long time. My pachara is about a foot tall and is putting out a spike. Check out kawamoto and Carmela on eBay.
You might want to consider neostylis pinky or starry night. It's pink, compact, and a Neofinetia hybrid

My favorite place for vandaceous orchids is RF Orchids in Florida.

RF Orchid does have a great selection but it's shipping is like ouch. For normal vandas I like my local nursery Brookside Orchid who has a decent selection and their plants are healthy too

Keep in mind it's not just the height of the plant itself but the roots grow super long too. You might have 3' of plant + another 3'+ of roots hanging down. Just a thought.
