Well, the order has been placed. After a very long deliberation process where I had to narrow the choice down to just one, I fought of the urge to go with one of the colored Neo's and got the classic white Amami Island.
I have to add that Dr. Lehr is a very pleasant and enjoyable man to talk with and I hope I can do more business with him in the future. Thanks to all the folks involved with this project. I'll now have a plant that I have wanted for a long time but have kept putting off.

That's great, Al! I'm so happy with Orchid Board projects - as they get so many people trying new orchids - sometimes it just the nudge people need to get something different. I know I would have never thought about getting an Aerangis except it was chosen as the prior project plant - and I LOVE it! I can't wait to start seeing photos of what everyone gets!

As people get their plants, it would be great to have a photo of each person's plant so that we can see all the different types that people ordered.

I've created a placeholder thread here:

http://www.orchidboard.com/community...html#post94220

if you want to post photos of your new baby (babies!) when they arrive!

Al, that's so great. That Amami Island is a LOVELY choice. ..a biggie. So glad you had a nice chat with Dr. Lehr! It's so much fun to try to grow these project plants. Some of my favorites are ones I wouldn't have thought to try! That is so exciting, and fun, and often so surprising! I love these projects for so many reasons. . .

well... that's the way it should be life can be already quite complicated to make it worst with our worries and if there is a way to make it easy, why worry making it difficult?

(opposite to german method: if there is a way to make it complicated, why worry making it easy? )***

...and the boxes from Schwerter are normally big enough to offer enough space for extra orchid
