When a plant shows up in some online home decoration publication everybody runs like a lemming to buy it, without checking to see if it is possible for them to grow. If you read blogs written by various plant sellers they talk about this from time to time. We see it here on Orchid Board too - a newcomer on their first post asks how to grow something very expensive that they just bought.
