The flower in the photo of this thread certainly shows traces of mem. helen brown's heritage though --- the digbyana side of things. Excellent photo though. Beautiful flower.
It will be very interesting to see if divisions of the original plant will exhibit flowers with the digbyana trait in very large sweet afton plants.
Also - I totally agree with 'new is not always better'. Blc. Mem. Helen Brown 'Sweet Afton' is my absolute favourite.
