Semi Hydroponic. Wet, but not drowning.
Catasetums seem to quite like it if their pot sits
in a couple of centimeters of water/fertiliser solution.

Oh Thank you very much for this info. Perhaps ill set mine in a shallow bowl with some water/fert in in see if that helps it.

Here's a pic of one of mine is its saucer. The liquid is full of algae, but it's a 150ppm N solution of 30.30.30
