Can you post the second photo again?
It is too blurry. Is it Brassavola of some sort??

I really have no idea without clearer image.
I think it might be disease as well.
Do you see clear biting damage on those white areas??

The reason I say that is because I had Dendrobium, Vanda and Cattleya did the same thing, and they were not from bugs or snails.
One day, they just showed this indentation with chloric marks.
