I'm pleased as punch, no doubt. BUT! I know this plant is capable of more. In the summer, when the plants were outside, the flowers were much larger and with more vivid tessellation. The sunroom with its limited light and average humidity is not the ideal place. If I had a greenhouse, I would bet that the large plant alone could put out up to three spikes per growth!

Ah well. Perhaps we'll get there one day. It's still going to be a Merry Vanda Christmas this year—who needs a tree, anyway?

Well, my one Vanda Sansai Blue does live in my greenhouse (but it's an add on to our house so maybe not a true greenhouse) and it has only given me 1 spike at a time. Mind you the poor thing has to have cooler temps and lower light in winter
