Frills, color, texture, pattern, and fragrance - those flowers have a lot going on. An abundance of riches.

Differences in light and temperature can make a big difference in color. Generally cooler and brighter equals more intense color, to a point. Day/night temperature difference and wavelengths of light can figure in too.
