Zygopetalum triste Male
Default

update. These have all done well, sort of. Yes - because they have all been repotted into bigger pots and there is lots of new growth. No - because all were attacked by the dreaded zygo black spot/streak.
This is an interesting species to me, primarily because of its growth habit. It doesn't just produce 1 new pbulb per pbulb, but multiple and one growing out underneath the other. I have one with 3 new pbulbs from a single pbulb ! Its also a small zygo. Those of you with the standard-sized zygo will appreciate that !
I am putting my head on the block and predicting that I should have blooms within 6-9 months, and hopefully 2 spikes per pbulb
