You might get an answer if you post in the neo section, not here.

Now, tell us what you bought recently.

Wow, they made it in perfect condition!
Makes me want to order some miltoniopsis from them.

Anyhow. They sent them out and they arrived yesterday.

Lepanthes telipogoniflora, with a pin for size reference.

And Macroclinium manabinum. With nothing for size reference lol.
It's maybe 1.5 inches long.
Very good looking plant.

There are whole societies in Japan devoted to this single species! There might be as many as several hundred different named clones, many being variegated.

Actually cultivated varieties, rather than specific clones because many of the variegated ones don't reproduce their particular variegation

It is a mushroom. Not a real one though.
I wanted glowing mushrooms in my lantern tank. But didn't want to delve into mushroom cultivation.

So I made some out of Polymer clay.

They look ever so slightly better in person lol.
They do glow! However the glow of the clay only lasts for about 5 minutes.
It was still a fun, cheap, and easy project.

Thank you. It's nice to have a little validation. I'm really one of the only people who sees them.
I'll be a sucker for glowing things till I die I'm pretty sure lol.

I actually have two other types of mushrooms too that glow.
But the oyster mushrooms are my favorite.

These reddish ones.

And these small whitish ones.

I did not intend to bid on this set of Dendrobium moniliforme. But if I won the bid, I would acquire three plants for less than Us$12.00. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
