Dare I say it?? Oh well it's my generation.
Got to catch'em all!! Pokémon!!
Got to collect'em all!! Orchids!!
As a parent, who raised children during the Pokemon generation, I have to tell you... that I hate you for putting that darned theme song back into my brain, after I'd just used up a liberal application of brain bleach to blot it out.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Aw gee, you're trouble!
Can't blame you, while checking my tracking and status of a just ended auction (6 day duration) I came across a marvelous Paph. Hawaiian Illusion in spike! My my this plant is crazy cool! You think I just said, "Oh man, that is so cool?" and just admired it? No...doh...no, no, no I had to have it...so now including plants in transport...15 Orchids... BF will soon take notice that the numbers are multiplying quickly, I'm going to have to be more stealth and stop for a while
Diving into the would of minis was both good and bad.
On one hand I can have lots of new orchids with very little space.
On the other... I have to order them online. Which means instead of just one I end up getting 5.
My boyfriend likes the orchids. He thinks they are cool.
I would highly recommend being creative. With a little imagination you can pack alot of orchids in a small space.

Nice choices of minis!
Thanks! I have no idea how to take care of the lepanthes. But I gotta try!
It scares me that plant.
Past weekend near Rome (Italy) in a beautiful little town on the hills, Monte Porzio Catone, took place an international show (and sell...) of orchids. The owners of local shops gave for free their places to the national and international vendors, that set up a little corner with their plants for show and the rest with orchids for us, dear buyers So you walk through the little village from a corner to another talking with friends (I met a lot of facebook friends!). Luckily there was a shiny sun There are also some expos made by our local Orchid associations. I didn't take pics, but if you want to see a lot of them, on facebook search the groups "Orchidee" and "Orchidee che passione" and look for "monte porzio" or similar.
