They'll get there just be patient and water frequently. To this day I am not 100% sure my tol has roots in the actual water...algae has covered that area. However, based on how robust the plant is, I'm inclined to believe it has at least some roots in the water. I see them grow into the algae but if they continue on behind that I'm not sure. One thing is certain, the only way I'm getting this plant out of its pot and to destroy the pot!
