Default Blc. Cherise Nishioka 'Hilo Flare'
This is a beautiful butter yellow cattleya with dark magenta flares at the tips of the petals and lip. I obtained this mericlone from Hawaii Hybrids in Hilo, Hawaii. The flowers have a natural horizontal spread of 5 inches. The beauty of the flowers is at its peak just as they open. After a couple of days, the brilliant butter yellow color fades to a light yellow.
