Catasetum Nimrod (sanguineum x incurvum)

The powerful, mighty, strong and eventually diabolic ruler of ancient Ninive and husband of Semiramis inspired me to name this hybrid Nimrod.
Pod parent is sanguineum, which inherits upright flower stems. Pollen came from the type plant of trautmanni, that turned out to be incurvum. Vigorous growth. Not a beauty, but a cross with a dominant character.
