Another question (I'll get pics, if needed)

Something is bothering me about the roots... When I ropotted, I noticed some of the roots that were in the medium were growing white nubs on them, about 1/4' long... are those just aerial roots starting out, or is it something I should be worried about? Everything else I've read, it appears that aerial roots grow out of the top of the plant, not off of old roots.

They're solid white, too. Not the spongy stuff that's on the biggest root on my plant. For all I know, though, that's perfectly normal.

Roots branch all the time. If you use a rooting hormone, branching is much more likely.

I haven't ever fertilized it. I probably should, but it's been doing so well, that I haven't really thought about it... Do you think that if I did, it would be better for it when it finally does bloom?
