if you can give me a US grower and a lit of plants id be happy to call them when i get a chance. right now i could only do 1 grower, maybe another after that, but time is tight with school and volleyball and work. i should be bale to call one vendor in the next few days though.

Thanks Bob! I don't think there's any need to contact growers for now. Someone did it for Phal parishii, since many people liked it. I think it's enough to just check the websites. Anyways once the first poll is done I have to contact them anyway to see if the finalists that are only available in 1-2 places are in sufficient quantities.

I've gone and found another one. Sorry, but it smells of chocolate apparently...
Encyclia cordigera
IOSPE PHOTOS
A page with a video: Orchid Web: Encyclia cordigera
EU: Nardotto e Capello have 3 different varieties for 14 EU flowering size
Can: Paramount, near flowering, 26
USA: Young plants available from Oak Hill for $5, having problems finding a blooming size in limit. Botanica have blooming size divisions for $22.50.
Is there any chance of putting up the limit for US folks? Since the exchange rates mean that in real terms the limit is much lower than for those in the EU...

Im having a hard time finding it too. Some places have it mounted buts its a seedling.
I dont have a problem with $22.50 but when it hits $25 most places up the shipping so we see a price increase of $10-12 more than we started off with.

The nice thing about Dendrobium aggregatum is that it is relatively easy to find among reliable growers, even among some of the good smaller growers. Some of the ones on the list are great but searching like crazy still yields just a single US grower.

I think that Den aggregatum is going to stay off the list, simply because everyone is saying different things. I read that it needs a cool dry rest, then I read that it only needs dry rest, so it went back on the list, but then I was told it needs a cool dry rest. And so on and so on... I'm going to contact a grower about it.

I'll have to research it further, but if IOSPE is right then it gets too big for this project since the spike grows to 2 feet long!

Really? I guess I missed that: I was looking at it being oncidium sized from the video! Oh well, another possible TC...
(Not that I have space or money for the current TC list! LOL)
