Orchidwiz gives the temps in situ though.
I quote directly from Orchidwiz: "Throughout the year, days average 31-32°C, and night average 23-24°C with a diurnal range of 8-9°C. Plants need warm temperatures. Griesbach indicates that Phal bellina is extremely sensitive to cold temperatures, and that the nighttime low temperature should be kept above 20°C."
I also had a look at what different vendors say, and it's definitely on the very high side of intermediate. I'm tempted to leave it out. Maybe we can find another intermediate growing Phal to replace it with.

Phal. violacea? Phal. wilsonii? celebensis? lindenii? I'm just making a lot of guesses here...

Darn
I'm starting to research some of those Laelias, they're cute!! Another one I'm searching for is Laelia sincorana. Very cute, I know it's available in Europe.

I'll add it tomorrow and search for US vendors, I'm tired of working on the project for this evening!

Interesting... I need to check with Uta as she always said she grows intermediate... The good of this, is that this one ofthe few Phals I really like, and today I learn it is a perfect companion for myCatasetinae

Try Big Leaf - looks like they have 3 small size of one cultivar and 1 mature size of another in stock.

Pulchra is also known to be tricky to bloom. I've had one for 3 years, tried everything possible and still no spike, while the other Phals all happily bloom. I'm starting to think it's a dud (also has a strange growth habit), so I wouldn't mind getting another!

Thanks. I already knew they had a few but I was trying to find a nursery that had enough so we could add it to the plant project list. We need enough for the US participants. But I might go ahead and buy one for myself anyway and Big leaf has good quality plants!
