Welcome to OB!
I try to grow plants that stay in bloom for awhile.
Phals will stay in bloom for a long time. They tend to bloom in the winter.
Catts don't seem to stay in bloom for very long, at least for me, but bloom in the summer.
Paphs stay in bloom a reasonably long time.
Dens stay in bloom a long time.
It also helps to buy mature plants to start. Seedlings can take 2-3 years, or longer.
They say you have to have at least 100 to have something in bloom all the time. I don't think that's true, though.
