Color Temperature

I have a curio cabinet turned grow area. I have Phal's, violets, and some hybrid Orchid ( which has gotten moved to the outside room as it's too tall in bloom for the cabinet). I don't even bother with "grow lights" anymore. Just get a soft white florescent bulb and a bright white bulb. Mount them next to each other and you get the whole spectrum...I have had a lot of success with this set up and I use $10 florescent fixture's from Meijer (grocery store in Michigan)..I've had this for two years, as the orchid's flower, I just move the shelf a little farther away.
