I have to agree. I started out with three mini's and thus far only one has bloomed continually for me. Once that bloom spike dies back I don't know if it will product another for me yet or not. However, out of the other two, one did nothing and the other just kept dropping leaves.
Since then, I've purchased many more and have learned that each one has different needs, just like the larger orchids. Research their needs and preferences before purchasing to ensure that you can maintain the proper conditions for them.
All in all though, orchid growing for most people is an experiment. I say go for it and learn from the experience!
