That I dont really know and I havent used it on orchids in the past.I use it in my water with fertilizer for most houseplants I want to jumpstart. And I have commercial grade rizophon that is .8% I bought when I was manager of a nursery and use it very dilute.I have mixed it with lard insted of lanolin before when breeding daylilies and just dab it on the surface where I break off a petal to make the bloom hold longer to help ensure pollination.
I just used this mix on a new goldenzell I got that has very few roots but does have two new root nubs just started to see if it will help.
I will just have to wait and see how it does now.
