as far as insulating for winter, i really think the solar pool cover helped my propane bill by about 15-20%...and i just have it on the roof of mine....gl and have fun!!!

Sheridan, thanks for the advice. I think I am going to try to do that. A couple quick questions, do you have your aluminet cover outside or inside of your gh? Also, do u cover the whole gh or just the roof and part of the walls? Thanks in advance.

As for misting system, I will wait till next summer. I am enjoying the time watering the orchids. Way easier than when they are in the house

Claude I have my aluminet on the outside of the GH. I measured from the side about knee hi over the top to the other side and then the length. I had them tape the edges and place gromits every so many inches. Check out their site to get more info on it. The aluminet is very light weight but works well. I weighted one side with a galvanized pipe and nylon tied it to the aluminet and the other side is attached to the old potting shed with hooks. I didn't cut the aluminet where the GH roof vent is because I didn't want it flapping in the breeze. Its light enough for the vent to raise it. The aluminet comes in different percentages mine is 60%
