RE: Max. tenuifolia, I brought mine in for the winter but just put him back outside. Good to know I can add it permanently to my outdoor group. I'm planning to build a covered section for my back deck using those 4x8 lattice-work panels very soon. Probably in the next week or two. That's the side of the house that gets the morning sun (and more during summer). It will immediately be populated by a bunch of orchids and I can't wait to see the way they respond.
I'm going to do a quick search and see if there aren't any societies that meet down here in my area. Maybe Monterey or something.
