Vanda Sanderiana with yellowing leaves,browning roots

Hi there and welcome.

I am no expert but I live in a similar climate where can often rain for weeks at a time with temperatures dropping to 19 cel. or lower. What I do is I have hooks under the eaves (roof edges). When it rains or is cloudy for weeks I bring my Vandas in under the eaves and hang them on these hooks; this prevents too much rain from producing crown rot in such cooler but conditions but still allows exposure to the odd burst of -much needed- sun.
