Orchids with a strong scent

Glad this thread was resurrected! My newest "go-to" frangrant orchid I use to compare all others (including Encylia tampensis) is Cischweinfia sheehanae. It is so "heady" a scent that all others pale to me. This plant will fill a room quickly with a strong flowery scent - very pleasant.

I wish someone would invent smell-o-vision for these things! That sounds great. And the plant itself is so lush and graceful looking. And the flowers are of course beautiful. I even like how they are held amongst the leaves. I love all the great plants you have to show off Ross.

I just reached for the orchid book I brought to college with me to look up Cischweinfias and realized I left it at home over Thanksgiving break! How will I survive?! Ok, don't panic kid, you've still got OB.
